The French are not as addicted to television as Americans are, but they're getting close. So this is an important topic to cover.
How to say TV and other related terms in French
The word for TV in French is téléviseur or TV for short.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In French, télévision refers to the concept of television as a medium or a technology, while téléviseur refers to a physical television set or device.
Another expression is le petit ecran which means "the little screen".
